Dr Rahman and the team were celebrating this weekend as the practice picked up three awards including the prestigious Best Practice UK, at the 2010 Dentistry Awards held in Leicester. This now brings the clinic an outstanding total of seven national industry awards!

Dr. Rahman said ” I am totally elated that we have received these awards. My team and I are absolutely focused in delivering the best quality of care to our patients and I am very proud that we have been recognised for it. I realised some time ago that if I was to deliver the best quality aesthetic dentistry then I needed to have my own on site laboratory. The addition of this facility together with two full-time specialist technicians took my practice to the next level and helped us win ‘Best Practice UK’. My team is now exactly what I wanted it to be and winning the ’Best Team’ in Scotland is testament to this.

Our Healthy Working Lives team were absolutely thrilled when we received our Bronze Award. The team have worked towards achieving the very worthwhile award over the last 12 months. We introduced the Healthy Working Lives programme at Visage to ensure that our working environment was a happy, healthy and safe one.

To achieve the Bronze Award we held activities and information campaigns on various health related topics. The whole team thoroughly enjoyed all of the events and are looking forward to more in the future.

As we remain committed to delivering excellence in all areas we are delighted to once again be shortlisted for further prestigious industry awards. On 5th November Ian, Andy, Kate and Mel travelled to London to attend the Private Dentistry Award Ceremony in the Intercontinental Hotel in Park Lane. The categories that we were shortlisted for were Best Dental Team and Best Patient Care. The judges had been overwhelmed by the quality and standard of entries this year and as such it is an achievement in itself to be shortlisted.

In December, the rest of the team will be attending the Dentistry Award Ceremony in Leicester where we have been shortlisted for both Best Team and Best Practice. Watch this space for updates!
