Friday, August 19th, 2011

We are delighted to announce that our IPL and Complementary Therapist Fiona has introduced a range of relaxing holistic therapies to her range of treatments. She has carefully chosen these particular treatments to complement the many services offered at Visage.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

Indian Head Massage is an ancient art of a series of gentle movements over pressure points on the face, neck, shoulder, and scalp area to alleviate an accumulation of stress that has built up in tissue, muscle and joints.

Treatment is used for the release of tension, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraines and sinusitis. Patients should be left feeling calm and relaxed and at the same time energised and revitalised.

REFLEXOLOGY

A complimentary therapy widely used for effectively treating a variety of physical and psychological concerns, using pressure, stretch and movement to work over the foot methodically to produce an overall feeling of wellbeing.

• Relieve Stress
• Relaxation
• Reduce Pain
• Improves Blood Flow
• Benefits Mental Health
• Unblocks clogged energy channels.

SWEDISH MASSAGE

Swedish Massage can vary from a slow gentle massage to a vigorous and bracing massage depending upon the individual patient and circumstances for the massage.

Starting with a gentle stroking movement to warm up the tissue then gradually working deeper into muscle groups to alleviate stress and tension nodules. Swedish Massage can also be used to compliment post injury recovery as a regular maintenance or to simply to relax and rejuvenate.
